dial board mounting ideas

how to guy have you dial-in boards mounted.

i was going to mount mine in the window. but im making removable lexan side windows, that are going to be dzus pinned on, so if i wanna cruise on a nice day i can take the window out. I dont feel like messy around with window paint to write the numbers on either, so thats not an option

so if the dial board was on the window, it would come in and out with the window. i just want to keep the window as light as possible. because only dzus pins are holding it.

do i mount it too the door on the bottom or top window opening? then itll be there all the time, even with the windows out?

or to the roll cage in the window opening?

lets see how some of you do it. or any ideas?

thanks, dave

Re: dial board mounting ideas

My first thought would be something light like small thin wall tubing with tabs welded to it . Bend 90's on the ends and weld small machine nuts to the ends of the tubing . Drill the lexan and counter sink machine screws or just use button head allens with stainless washers and mount it to the window That way it goes with the window . Next would be a pin in or bolt in to the cage . Last would be to the door frame . JMO .
