Here's what I did.
I used 16 gauge sheet and cut it to fit like the original.
I cut the original large washers out and drilled a large enough hole so they would recess like they did in the old floor.
Put the new floor in position and then bolted the washers in.
Made sure everything fit and then tacked it all in.

I bought the kit from classic parts for the front with trans hump.

My floor was rusty but the cab mounts were still solid so i just trimed out the old metal untill i hit solid steel again, I used cold rolled steel scraps from my local supplier, its easier to weld with since you dont have to to remove all the mill scale, and the way i swaped in the front clip i raised it up so i wouldnt have to use lowering springs, but ended up having to build a tunnel for the trans, only thing i had bent was the floor part at my buddies house who had a brake, but any metal shop will bend yours up for a couple bucks or i have had luck with my local muffler shop bartering with beer for scrap pieces or getting a quick piece of pipe bent up, heres a couple pics of what i did, also bent the tunnel by hand beating it into shape with a combination of tools including a dead blow hammer, a welding bottle and roughing out the large part on a actual sand bag, i started with some posterboard template and just kept trimming till I had the parts the way i wanted.

I dont know about my cab mounts yet.The floor, toe board and lower kick panel on the passanger side are pretty holey. so I am thinking that I will need to make new ones. The plan now is to make a framework out of 1''X1" tubing then cover it with 18 guage sence I already have more than a sheet and about 30' of the tubing.

I have been doing some simple hammer forming with some pretty good results.So we will see where that goes. I like the welding bottle idea too.

I too did some bracing under the floor with some 1"x3" tubing, (because that's what I had) and it turned out pretty solid, Another thing I did that saved some time fitting was placing the tunnel on the floor and centering it till it looked good and then cut out the overlapping parts from underneath and grinding it smooth. (hope that makes sense)
