Upper radiator hose?

I am looking to replace my upper radiator hose on my 1967 k10 327. When I go to the parts store they try to give me a flex hose. I would like a one piece, moulded hose. If anyone has a part number that might work for my application, I would appreciate it.

Re: Upper radiator hose?

When I needed rad hoses for my frankentruck I bent coat hanger wire to the desired shape, measured the diameter and took them to the parts store. Counterguy did NOT even look at the computer, went back and within a couple of minutes came out with a variety. Picked the two that worked (had to trim both for length) and was out the door. Both were premolded Gates hoses. Flex hose is for lazy countermen.

Best way to do it. And I concur...flex hose is for a seriously lazy counterman.

Re: Upper radiator hose?

All of my trucks use the metal pipe with short pieces of hose at the ends.

Re: Upper radiator hose?

I found one at NAPA using the coat hanger trick... I know have an original metal pipe with the rubber ends... either should work fine.
