How do you mount door vent shades? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I just got a set for my 68 and want to install them. Any suggestions for the best way to install them and keep them there? I put in by just shoving them in between the window run and the door and they stayed on after a test drive but I feel that at highway speeds they may not stay. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you.

Shawn, there should be some clips that snap in to secure them, 5 or 6 on each side.

Rene do you have those clips? These are used shades and there is no clips.

Shawn I have some old shades at the house you can have, or have the clips off of them if that's what you need? I'll get dad to take a picture, post for you and I'll send them your way if you can use them.

I took them off my old red doors that came with my stepper. Dad cleaned them up, and I know for 99% sure we still have them in the garage. they have been around for a while, but they are still in good shape.

Sure, do you want to trade for the NOS bulleye..... Just kidding, get a hold of Steve Griffie his son in law bought the "cockroach" of me and I think he took the shades off the truck.
