Awesome Patina'ed up 69 for sale on CL - Check it out

http://athensga.craigslist.org/cto/3154775454.html

Not mine, but this one would be perfect for a Patina rod. You can't paint one like this!

$2100 for a truck that needs that much work?!? $1000 maybe $1500 tops would be closer to the right price. It's obvious the truck has been sitting for a while.

Would make a sweet patina'd shop truck, though.

$2000 is a fair price for that truck to the right person looking to do a patina truck , if they plan to fix the mechanicals and put wheels on it AND RIDE IT ! if you are looking for a nice shiny truck then no it is a little steep ,,,, myself I like it the stepside take's $500 off for me , id buy it myself if it was close and was a fleetside ,,,,

Straight oem painted trucks like this are bringing big money these days.

If you know where any trucks like this are located,... for $500,... I will take them.

Thats what I'm sayin!

Get it running, put on some new tires, 2" drop springs and watch it bring $8000 on Ebay. Wouldn't be the first time and there are a couple similar on here.

Re: Awesome Patina'ed up 69 for sale on CL - Check it out

I guess I just like the patina a bit more than others.. but lets all chip in, buy it and send it to n2billet. Run it though an auction and see what happens.

Maybe I see more potential than some and thats cool.. but Im with Keith. $500 and Im in the truck going to get it.

Just sayin..

Re: Awesome Patina'ed up 69 for sale on CL - Check it out

Rusted trucks like that are all over WA State under $1,000 bucks.

Heck... the '72 GMC I have has decent paint on it and a few dings. Rust in the typical places like the rockers and floor... 350 SBC and a TH350 trans... I paid $800 bucks for it. A couple new plug wires, some fresh fuel, and aired up one tire... I drove it out of the field it was sitting in for a 1.5 hour ride home.

I love old trucks as much as the next guy... but paying for rust? That's insane!

If I had the $. Id love to have it. There may be spots of rust but on the surface I wouldnt think about painting it. CLR bath, flat clear, PB stage 2 and some billets and I would be a happy man.
