strenghten rear for heavy loads

I want to see if there are any good ways to strenghten my 69 panels reear frame for hauling heavier loads.

Might be going over kill but whats new. I will be towing my race trailer some with panel.While trips will not be overly long it doesnt take long to have issues on the road. Frame is solid now and bhas towed a 32 foot camper fully loaded quite abit in its past and at speeds way above speed limits. Gandfather wasn't much more concerned about those signs on side of than I am. My race trailer will be a lite as possible but I know me. If had room my bridgeport mill would be inside. Figure car weighs only 1500,spare aluminum hemi engine,tools boxs.air compressor,generator,spare trans(hopefully) good supply of spare nuts and bolts. You can see where it can add up quickly.

First order is to remove old hitch setup and build new stronger one. Thought about bracing frame with boxing it or ribing like bridge materail ok smaller. Going to rebuild the whole suspenion while bodys is off.New spriings shocks, bushings,sway bars. Figure the 12 bolt should be strong enough.

I will have load adjusters also. I know these things work,Ive lifter rear with them when going to far so I know they can take some of laod off rear.

Any suggestions will be considered and some may even get used.

this is what ive done to my k20









probably overkill on my part. the entire frame was boxed with 3/16" plate and all of the factory crossmembers have gone the way of the water buffalo. i wanted to stand up to the 12v cummins and heavy loads. didnt seem like a good plan to go chintzy. i also replaces all of the last 3 feet of the frame rails because i didnt like the pitting and rust. i used 3"x4" 3/16" tubing to replace the stock stuff

looks strong as he11. Think I'll box frame and maybe rework cross members but use orginal ones.
