Lateral driveshaft angle with Dana 60 swap.

Swapping in a Dana 60 from a 1969 3/4 ton C20 2WD into my 1968 K20 4x4 that had an Eaton. Talked to the guy doing it at a differential shop and he said there may be a little lateral drive shaft angle being the differential may not center up. I'm going to look at it tomorrow while they fabricate the spring perches and shock mounts. Is there a maximum lateral angle for the drive shaft? Will rebalancing it be necessary?

Thanks

Re: Lateral driveshaft angle with Dana 60 swap.

My 68 K20 came stock with a 60 rear, so I don't think there would be too much of an issue. Unfortunately I don't remember how much (if any) offset there is to give a more exact answer.

Math and assumptions:

2" offset and 48" shaft length = 2.4 degrees of offset. It will increase with larger offset or shorter length and decrease with less offset or a longer driveshaft.
