65 GMC C30 to 73-87 K30 Frame Swap Questions

I wasnt able to find much more info other than roughly "yea itll work on a 4x4" on frame swap. I have a 65 GMC C30 that is a cab&chassis frame. I've gave it some serious thought about using a CUCV rolling frame(73-87 1 ton single wheel) and putting my 65 C30 body into the frame. I figured I'd have to chop the body mounts off the '65 and drill/bolt them onto the newer frame but didn't know if there would be a ton more involved. I dont have a 4wd 73-87 frame to look at to pull measurements and all from at the moment so was hoping someone has done this swap before and could give some first hand info/pics possibly. Thanks!!
