66 GMC rear end swap ?
Has anyone ever changed out there dana 44 rear axles with 6 lugs & leaf springs to a newer 70s model with 5 lugs & leafs ? If so what year would work ? I like the 5 lug pattern & the danas tubes look a little rough & i dont think there really up to the challange of what i want to put them through !thanks for any help.

By my measurements, the spring perches are ab 1/2" wider on the 73+ rears. I'm gonna try to swap the first weekend of oct. I'll let u know.
