My truck is lowered. I could not get a jack under the front to change a flat. I bought a very small hydraulic jack. I use it under the frame at the very front of the truck. I raise the truck so the control arm raises up enough to get my big scissor jack under it. Then up it goes.

Same with mine or I drive over something like a brick or a couple peices of wood.

I don't have this problem yet since I haven't gotten around to dropping my truck. This is good info though.... Just curious, do you think the low profile Jacks from HF would fit under ? I have on and use it all the time . It works great but I use it on my stock height 86, stock height 01 and Lifted 08 Jeep Patriot.

If you keep the stock/factory jack in the truck, it still works with a lowered truck. For the front it has a low slung hook that fits the front of the lower control arms and for the rear it still fits under the axle tube. You can also use a scissor jack like a lot of late model cars have that doesnt take up much space.

If your truck is lowered let the air out of the tire then measure, and see if your jack will work.

really? lol... I for see i5 taking it;s toll on my truck... especially.. through bellingham.. ugh.

Yeah, I have to jack it up on the roll bar then block it up then move the jack to the control arm... total pain!!!!! future mod for sure has to be air jacks! easy to jack up and cool as hell too boot.

Not my thing, but I appreciate anything done well, except maybe 4 door sedans, wagons I get.

I bought an aluminum lower jack. I think it's only 3" high at the lift point. It barely fits under the a-arm! Works great.

i didnt then my dad said i was stupid, so i threw a spare in the bed. weeks later i got a flat

I carry a spare in the bed with a floor jack. They are tied together with a chain. So far, no one has stole them. I also cover them with a blanket. I could go without a spare. As long as I'm in the city limits, I can get a tow. My insurance will send me back $75.

My spare is bolted to the floor with a chain, and padlock. Harder to steal. I carry two jacks. I my drive it to Texas. That is a 1,000 mile trip. May be moving.

I bought a low profile racing jack for my dropped s10 and haven't had any problems with it.

I never had a Merc. with those hubcaps. I bought the cap about 20 years ago. It fit so I used it. I think it looks cool.

I had flat on my truck a couple weeks ago on the front, ran over something on a rail road track and drug the arm a goods ways this was on flat road destroyed the control arm,
