Seen these at goodguys a few years ago.

I looked @ summit but they had some very similar but not what I wanted. I want black or colored grip, not foam or wood.

Hows the fit in our trucks (im 160lbs, 6')

How does it fit? Bolt right in, does the adaptor look funny (im trying to seretly ask for a close up pic lol) Ive been searching all over the web and ebay..

They can be found on eBay.
I run them in all my trucks.
Just make sure the hub adapter is for a 67-68 Camaro.
The 69- newer camaro hub adapter is a larger diameter than the truck columns.

They work well in our trucks. There are similar ones reproduced. Buick and Olds also had a version with 4-spokes.

Yes on the 67-68 hub adapter.
(the horn kits are all the same)

The 67-68 camaros had the ignition switch in the dash, like our trucks,... so the column is approximately the same diameter.
If you buy the 69-70 hub adapter it will be a larger diameter, since these cars had a larger diameter steering column, because their ignition switch was in the column.

Here's the one in my '69,...

I am just down the road from you in Chattanooga, TN! Keith is right about using the Camaro/Corvette hub assembly. It makes the install look factory. In addition to Keith's photo, here is one from my son's GMC showing the Camaro hub mounted to his '71 GMC column. We had painted it to match his column in this photo, but you get the idea.

You just align the brass cap and spring for the horn assembly through the hole in the hub, align the teeth on the shaft and re-install the large keeper nut. We used the repro Camaro center cap and the horn still works. This is my favorite wheel.

It is slightly larger but not really noticable IMO unless you know to look for it. The one on my GMC is for a 69 Camaro (the tan one above)

I just put on very much like this in my truck but it is a wood wheel, I did not care for the wood look since there is no other wood in my truck so I sanded it down and stained it black I think it turned out rather nice.

It has a thicker leather rim which I like.
I also bought the original thin rim version several years ago for my 69 camaro. It was a repop and had a quality problem. One of the spokes pulled off the rim. It's now hanging on my garage wall. So, I purchase a used GM Corvette wheel to replace it. Nothing like GM quality.

I have that Cavallier wheel in my 1978 c10. Its ok, and the size isnt bad but its a little too "Import" looking for my taste. Doesnt match my truck at all. I got mine at the pick n pull for $15 and thats the only reason I got it. If my truck was more of a muscle car style (big wide tires on Rallys) then it might be ok, but I am two tone, running on stock steel wheels with dog dish's and trim rings. Its one of the coolest looking factory steering wheels out there, but I think it would look really out of place on a 67-72.

The comfort grip wheels are 15 in, the factory 69-72 is 17 in. For a taller person without a tilt it really helps get your legs under the wheel.

I got a saddle Olds wheel for a great price,then spent more to get the adapter and horn stuff. If you find it all together it may be your best bargain.
