how low

If I put bags on the front of a 63 how many inches of drop would I get completely aired out with no modification to the lower a arms? and if they are completely fill how much lower than stock would it be? and what would be the first thing that would stop the truck from going any lower other than the bump stops and tires.

Re: how low

The front crossmember will be about 1.5" off the ground. Here is a pic of my 65.

Here is a pic with no spring before the bag went in. It airs out the same.

Here is a side shot. There is about a 4 inch notch in the rear.

Hope that helps.

Re: how low

When you say 4" do you mean 4" above the top of the frame rail? If so I assume you had to go into the bed a bit?

Re: how low

The bottom of the rear end housing was level with the top of the frame.

Re: how low

Do you have bad camber issues with bags and stock control arms?

I am considering bagging my truck prior to buying new wheels and the 5 lug conversion.

So i could put in bags in the front and a porterbuilt c notch in the rear?

When you do the 5 lug conversion are you getting new spindles? Drop spindles would help with that I would think.

Re: how low

I already have 2.5 drop spindles and a disc brake kit. Just going to 5 lug for wheel choices
