I have a chance to get this truck but I am back and forth on what the value of it is.

It is about 3 hours from me and it is obviously a parts truck but it looks like it has quite a few very good parts on it from the pics.

I would assume it has been restored once and only reason for sale is it appears a large tree or something fell accross it wiping out the cab & back body.

Even having to go 3 hours each way I am still thinking $1000 & i would not get hurt. What do you guys think?

It says it runs and drives still but does not say engine size. I would guess 307 but maybe get lucky and it's not. haha Looks like 3 speed on tree.
I know a lot could be covered up with the paint, but it looks like it was a frame off by the firewall pic, so maybe it was done right. Even so the grill, bumpers, seat, tailgate and such look perfect.

I'd have to check it out in person like you said for hidden bondo...but 1000 seems reasonable with that cherry gate, bumpers, grill, front clip, and seat being worth 1500 at least if sold separately..

Thats what I was thinking..... If I get it and the front clip is real good I will slap it on my 70 stepside and fast trac that one to completion.

looks like alot of good parts is it a 69? grill, bumpers, glass good buy!

$1000 is about tops. $800-900 a good buy. If you take it, let me know what your selling as I can pick up the bench seat, doors, rear bumper and stereo.
