1968 Chevrolet Color Code
Does any one know the paint code numbers for this 1968 Chevrolet Pickup? Is it the stock 50th Anniversary Color? Thanks.....

If it's stock gold it's 551 for the gold and 526 for the white/ivory, but that doesn't look stock to me.

Kind of agree that the pictured truck looks similar but the clear coat might be the reason. Here is a known '68 50th Anniversary. Might search through the board for 50th trucks and see how the colors look to you. Finally here is a paint chip card for Ditzler.

That`s an 2000 BMW color according to the featured article written in 2006 Classic trucks magazine.
I have been admiring that truck myself since I found the pic a couple of years ago and was considering it on mine. |

I could kick myself for not knowing the name of that color. There was Pearl Beige Metallic and this color. If you like that color I can keep my eyes peeled and snag the paint code for you.

Here is mine, we cut and buffed original paint on tailgate- it was a takeoff placed in dry storage and near pristine to paint store to color match my 68, this is about as close as you can get to the 551 anniversary gold in base clear.
