Exclamation Rear sway bar

New to sway bars and since I have the bed off why not install one, so my question is, what is the best bang for your buck? Does anyone have any good photo of an installed rear sway bar?

Re: Rear sway bar

Classic Performance Products makes a 1-1/8" OD high performance rear sway bar for Coil spring for $139.00 and a 7/8" OD high performance rear sway bar for Leaf spring for $149.00, thats good bang for your buck.
Heres a Link.

Re: Rear sway bar

I just installed the rear one available from LMC, and I don't think its really intended for our trucks. The end links are nowhere near long enough to reach up to the frame on a leaf spring truck unless you rotate the whole thing so that the mounts are pretty much on TOP of the axle.

The picture at classicperform.com looks like the same unit I got from LMC, so just a heads up.

I'm not saying they -won't- work, just surprised at the way it fit.

Re: Rear sway bar

Don't have pictures, but I put Hellwig 1 1/8" front and rear anti-sways in SWB. HUGE difference on old springs. I bought new and had them installed, but wrecking yard C30 sways or off of a Custom Campers would be much less expensive if you can find them. I also did a "performance" alignment. Very happy with handling.
