It was a blast. Picture someone spilling ammonia in an office. That was pretty much the scene. They said "wind up the motor a little to get a good reading". I blipped the throttle hard once, it tached up 8,000 and blew their little sniffer thingie out the pipe, broke some cable,(like I care).

On the way out of the parking lot, I saw one of my fuel customers, laughing his head off. He could smell it, smiled at me and said "410?" I said "yup..." He was onto my little trick. Nothing like putting a back up sprint car motor in a street rod.

Anyone want a pink slip to a Viper??
