Clocked a few miles this weekend

A friend of mine was getting married in Ohio this past Friday evening and asked me to be an usher. Once I accepted I thought this is a great time for a road trip with the 68. So I left Wednesday evening from just outside of Myrtle Beach, SC and drove to Mt Airy, NC. Got up Thursday morning and finished the trek to Salem, OH. Since I drove the truck my buddy asked to use it for pics and for the getaway car. I of course said yes. After the wedding I decided to head further up north on Saturday morning to see another buddy, Boris from Street Machinery. Hung out with him for a few hours, saw all his cool stuff, and had lunch. Then around 3:30 got back on the road heading south. Made it to Beckley, WV and stopped to watch the Carolina/Kentucky game. Spent the night then made the rest of the ride home through the mountains. It was awesome. My speedo is about 8-10 mph slow but by the odometer it was just over a 1500 mile round trip. All without a hiccup. I'll post a few pics from the ride.

Sweet truck! Was fun to read the story, like I was living a dream through you. Want to take my truck up to the mountains one day. Just get in, drive for a week or two, to wherever the truck takes me, and come home.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Clocked a few miles this weekend

Sorry, there is no build thread on this one. It was built by Tom Hurd at Trick Truck and Rod Shop in Ohio. The drop is courtesy of air bags and the wheels are 20x8.5 Coys in front and 22x9.5 in the rear.
