Long box bed steps

I cant find anyone selling new or replica bed steps for the longbox stepside.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Check the parts board I'm sure somebody has some.I will check my shed and see if I still have mine, but I think they are long gone.

Re: Long box bed steps

You are correct. No one makes longbed steps. Gotta find good used ones or try making some out of short ones.

127" steps are tough to find and when you ask about 133"s many people go "what?". Sharpie usually has off the wall stuff and he has offered these steps before. Give him a try. I'd offer you mine but they were a birthday present many years ago that were take-offs for bed side boxes.

I've been curious about this same topic. I too have a long stepper and was lookin to get a new set of steps and cant find any. I've often wondered how close the pre 67 steps were, and if they could be made to fit

That would be another good option to try, although they may not be any easier to find. Are they reproduced? The first visual difference will be the ribs run through, front to back on 55-66 steps and 67-72s have a break in the middle dividing the ribs. The actual radius of the front of the fender will vary some, but I'd think nothing too drastic to make it not a possible mate.

Re: Long box bed steps

I did notice the rib difference, not sure how much of a deal breaker that would be. they do reproduce the pre-67 steps, I see them on ebay all the time. I'm sure there are some solid originals out there somewhere, I'll keep looking, but I just might break down and try modding the older style to fit.
