What shift linkage kits are you using?
I am in need of replacing my shift linkage/rod in my 69 with a TH400. The new tilt steering column is coming and the old rod/linkage has seen better days.
Who makes the best kit for the TH400 in our trucks. Seen a Kugel Komponents that looks nice but heard that you needed to bend the rod to get the right angle... http://www.kugelkomponents.com/zenca...&products_id=7 Thoughts? As always, thanks for your guys time! Weev-

Kugel for me yes I had to bend the rod. I just used a coat hanger for trial fitment and transferred the bends

I used the Lokar linkage. Worked great and just had to put a slight curve in the rod.

Re: What shift linkage kits are you using?
I was kind of nervous doing this. Then after using the coat hanger double check triple check everything before bending it turned out to be simple. I also made sure that after I put the adapter lever on the tranny side, I moved the adapter lever through its range to make sure it didn't hit exhaust. Do this with the hanger on your mock up also. Here's mine
