60's and up to mid 70's 4 speeds from a camaro,, chevelle,, etc.

You can run a T-10, a saginaw or a muncie 4 speed. If you have a lead foot and are planning on more horses, Id stick with the muncie rather than the saginaw. (saginaw is a good trans.--but it wasnt designed for mega torque and HP.) An M 20 muncie (wide ratio will prob. be a good choice--and was the most common and easiest to find)
