Re: Project "Shifted"

Moved on to mounting the Accuair level sensors. With the help of the board, I think I have the fronts figured out. I'm hoping the rear should be fairly simple also....

good looking build, I sure hope you continue on. I seen earlier in the build where you was raised in Smithville, I am born and raised in Valliant, OK its about 30 miles west of Broken Bow. I am currently in the process of a frame off build on a 72 short wide. Keep up the good work.

Thanks! When did you graduate? I went to Smithville High School from 83-87. We used to play Valliant in basketball, they always had good teams. I used to have some friends that worked at the paper mill. Looking forward to seeing some pictures of your truck.

sweet build man! question for you... what hose kit did you buy for your power steering hook up? I have the corvette style accessory drive on the front of my motor as well.

It's a Russell setup. You can get the fittings and line from Summit or Jegs.

I just read the whole thread... Don't sell it!!! It's so close! If you're burned out, reread this thread and look at what all you've accomplished. I'm going to be watching.

Making a little more progress. I finally have both bed sides cut. So tomorrow, I'm going to try to get it back on the ground to see what it looks like laid out.

Thanks! Lots of interest, but still no buyers yet. So, I'm still working on it. I got the gas pedal and throttle cable mounted and connected. I used Rockcrwln's pedal bracket, factory 71/72 CST pedal and LOKAR cables and fittings. Next I'm going to finish mounting the front Accuair level sensors and then move onto the rear ones.
