It's no wonder some of you guys can build a perfect truck in a month! When you say "I need to find some parts for my build..." you are simply walking out to the barn. The rest of us spend years finding the guys like you to buy from! I love it!

1/2t GMC. Notice the difference in the center cone rise. Also,the outer part is more slanted towards the edge on yours.

That Burgundy Stepside I showed? It's in great shape.The original wood was gone and replaced w/plywood and stainless bed strips screwed on top.

oh this is like crack ! i just picked up a BUNCH of NOS parts from a closed down auto parts, they closed in 85 most are still in great shape, but no books , i must have 100's of carb kits, etc. i have a NOS set of gauges for a 50 chevy truck, Mopar dash, i just cant say no when people want to give me parts, some day i will need to sell some.

Special K, the picture of the dash panel with the red backing, I think I see a clock where there is usually a vac. gauge was it a factory unit clock?

I've never had one with clock. Not sure which picture you saw. Mybe I shoewed a dash I put a trans temp gauge in,but you wouldn't mistke that for a clock. I've seen people put clocks from other GMs there.
