Steve, I looked up some part no's and did some homework. The spiral shocks were the standard shocks and large "fat" ones are the heavy duty. The numbers that were on the 1/2 ton BB surburban are the same ones that came on C-10, blazers and suburbans that came with the option "Heavy duty shocks". Dan Tippman said a reliable source told him if the shocks were not leaking they were still good. Trevor our shocks are nice original and I think our best option to make Jason's truck as correct as possible to have them restored. It would be much appreciated if you can get more info on the guy that does this.
