67 swb step side bulid

Whats goi on guys im new to this forum, my name is dakota. me and my brother in law are building this 67 small window swb step side. it is a frame off resto. we have the cab stripped down and all the body off the frame. i will try to post pics of it before during and after the process. We bought a 73 sierra grande p/u with a 454 and a th400. we took that and the motor towers and trying to get it to fit. the truck was a factory stright 6 truck, when we got it there was a locked up 302 and a 3 speed in it. will the motor towers work on the 67? can we use the clam shell mounts on the 67 with the towers also? we have a plastic BB for fitment suff. The truc is also a small hump. Will there be any issues with tranny? Any one got an advice? thanks!!

Question 67 swb step side bulid

Also the 454 looks to have double valve springs. do hey come like this? It has 049 oval port heads. 167 CC combustion chambers.
