20" rim question

Does anyone run the same offset rims front and rear? I was interested in running a 275/40/20 front and rear. I'm running a modest 2.5/4" drop. My truck is a 71 c-10 w/bbc 4l80e front 5 lug. It's set up for daily driving/sport touring.

Most people i know run a staggered set up with wider rear wheels.

Re: 20" rim question

I guess I'm just weird like that. I want to be able to rotate my tires and run the same size. If its not possible then I'll stagger them.

Its possible, it all depends on how you want your truck to look

Re: 20" rim question

A 275/40/20 is 10.83" wide. The sidewall height is 4.33" tall.

That's a big ole tire for the front, even with a mild drop, your BBC adds a little bit too.

Most run 255/45 or 255/40 up front, depending on the drop. 8.5" wheel, 5.25"BS depending on a lot of other stuff.

But, that will get you close.

255 is 10.03" wide by the way. I think the 275 might rub a little, especially if you push it hard into a corner.
