Re: broken motor out, summit crate in

I have a video of the other motor running and during wot... I will take a video of this motor too... basically the other motor was bored .20 over, had a roller cam from howards, very small rv cam. stock heads, and the same edelbrock 1406 carb and dual plane intake with a TH350... it never ran right and we found out that the person who built it didnt install a thrust button so the cam was walking... could never time it and higher rpms it ran like ****! developed a nice little rattle internally!!!!

So this motor, is a summit 4 bolt main, 350hp/401tq. it has 10.5 compression, mild cam, 202-160 heads. I also have a HEI with 345/42 weights. I swapped the torker II manifold that was on it for the dual plane and edelbrock 1406 and up graded pulley and balancer set up I had... I also installed a tci th400 street fighter behind it...

it has alot more power than the previous motor and seems to run better too. So far I am impressed.

Once I figure out the vibration i will post video
