Re: Christmas BONANZA ALOT of 67-72 truck parts!!

ohh and forgot to ask if the shaft piece is the same for manual or power steering? cause there was a whole other steering box thing included when I got truck. Just never looked at it to see if it would work. This may answer why he included it...lol

thanks,
Betty

Betty, the size of the fan won't matter if you don't use a shroud, another $15 for the fan without clutch. Thanks Randy

Re: Christmas BONANZA ALOT of 67-72 truck parts!!

Hi Randy-
Perhaps you can help me with a speedo issue?? The speedo on my '67 has never worked. Bought a new cable and installed it yesterday. Still nothing. Do I need to replace the entire mechanism or might it be something else? Having a speedometer/ odometer that works would be cool because I don't have a working gas gauge either!!

Any advice??

Re: Christmas BONANZA ALOT of 67-72 truck parts!!

Mine has a solid column. So I am guessing that means I do not need the shaft? Just want to make sure I get what I need to make it work.

Re: Christmas BONANZA ALOT of 67-72 truck parts!!

Got my p/s steering box today. Sure feels nicer than my old one. I'm almost looking forward to driving the truck with a decent steering box as much as with the rebuilt engine. Well, maybe not quite, but it should be much better, anyway.

Thanks, Randy.

Re: Christmas BONANZA ALOT of 67-72 truck parts!!

I am looking for parking brake components for a 1972 4 wheel drive. Prefer everything from the petal to the rear cable. But what I really need is all the guides, equalizer with spring, and connectors. Thanks

Sloan66, Kevin, I found another pair today that is in better shape, $45 shipped for these. Also found a nice horn button for $25 and ship it with the $20 steering wheel, I still need to get you a shipping quote on wheel. Pics of wheel after these pics
