they keep going for that price someone will start reproducing them, it probably wasn't worth reproducing a couple of years ago, but it is know. I think like anything that is rare, it goes for big bucks, all the power to you if you can get it, I've payed big money for rare items, cause I really wanted it, I'm not there yet on tow hooks, but you never know, if your willing to pay the money, then you get bragging rights
