Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build

Got some more work done today I worked on the rocker for the 4th door.
I used two new rockers to make one.I also worked on the back side of the b pillar I used the rear of the pass side b pillar off another sub. I flipped it upside down to fit also worked on upper door channel I used the same method on this area. Everthing is roughed in I wanted to get more done but it got late and I ran out of argon.

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build

Time for some door pics, after lots of measuring its time to cut up a super clean rust free arizona door. This door was coated with under coating on the inside so I had to strip some off so it would sit flush.

No they are not door is just sitting there, its just held in by the latch.
It was getting late and I just had to check it out before I was done for the day.
The door fits in the hole but is nowhere near lining up, still have a little trimming
to do and alot of adjusting.

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build

Ok, I could not wait until the weekend I had to know if this was going to work.
I got home from work drilled a few holes, now I have a swinging 4th door.
Still needs alot of work and adjustment but it works and fits pretty good as well.

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build

Did you move the hinges closer together like on the 3rd door?

No I did not see any reason too, the hinge sits flush on b pillar and it clears the inner latch. I thought I'd give it a shot, seems to work ok.
