73-87 truck of the month.
Ok, I set it up anyways. . . . LOL!! ALright, I think we would at least 5 trucks. Let's take nomines until Halloween night. Then once we have all them, we will set up a poll for it. After one week, we will set up the winners thread. SO let's see some pictures!

cochino12 brought up the subject that we should start a "Truck of the Month" like the guys in the 67-72 forum have been doing. I checked with racedvl (our moderator) and he gave it a green light.
I sorta of volunteering my time to get it going, and the offer was accepted. I guess that means I have to make the rules up too, so here goes. Toward the end of the month, we will start a thread to get nominees for a truck of the month. I guess your criteria for nominating someones truck should be selecting one that you like a lot. There's no reason make it much more complicated than that. After a couple of days of nominating, I will pick the top 4-5 trucks and post another "election" thread with a poll. You can cast an official vote then, and the forum members will decide the winner. If y'all see a problem with this plan, let me know. If not, let the nominations begin for the November truck of the month....

Let me start off the nominations. There are a lot of trucks on here that I love, but the one that I think "everyone" likes the most is Mike (Swervin Ervin's) truck.....

I'm not sure who to suggest, but anything with a hood ornament gets bonus points with me!

LOHRTBT - I'd also like to nominate his truck
Hey KShortell, my truck has a hood ornament! She no longer has any trimming, and is partialy sanded down where she is rusty, also has a new chrome front bumper :P I feel like quite the little nominator here :P

one thing about the rules, and i figure that most people would realize this, not saying everyone is stupid. But, just to make it noted. Previous winners can not be nominated again. ??? maybe for a certain amount of time (6 months, year?). Also.. how about a website for the winners (pics and bios), and have an end of year contest.

We are going to have to figure a good way to narrrow down the nominees too. We can only have 15 nominees in a poll. We may have to do a run off or something... ? |
