Re: K10 spring hanger

Yes, they're different heights.

The 4x4 rear spring hangers (both the rearward & forward ones) extend farther down from the frame than the 2wd hangers.

Re: K10 spring hanger

if i run the 2wd hangers, could i compensate by doing a shackle lift in the back to level it out?

Re: K10 spring hanger

Since the rear shackles run from the spring hanger up to the spring, I don't think it's even possible to do a shackle lift on these trucks.

You probably could compensate for the height difference in the 2wd spring hangers by using some lift blocks between the spring & axle. Or better yet, some higher arch lift springs.

Re: K10 spring hanger

You could do a shackle flip to bring it back up.

Re: K10 spring hanger

Why couldn't he do a shackle flip? but on the question a shackle flip raises the truck 4in so hopefully someone knows the difference between the 2wd and 4wd hangars because if they're say 2in different, is that 2in lift going to be worth it?
