Great Night

Its been a great night. The local rock station is celebrating 25 years of being on the air and part of this celebration was having a concert . My company that I work for was a sponsor and I got free tickets . Me and the wife were center stage 16 rows back to see 38 Special and Lynyrd Skynyrd, my ears are still ringing.

I got up this morning went to work and I still couldnt really hear for the ringing . These guys Kicked A$$ it was one of the best shows I have seen in years. next to the last song was travelin man ,they dropped a screen down and Johnny and the late Ronnie took turns singing .It was awsome .
The only thing that kinda ruined the show was all the people around me were smoking dope . I have done it but that was my wilder days . Imean people to the left of me ,to the right ,behind me and in front of me it was kinda overkill .

As far as I'm concerned It dont get any better than that lineup. Saw the old and new Skynyrd. Ronnie was a GENIUS! A refreshenly uncultured barefoot lead singer who passed before his time! SKYNYRD SHOULD BE IN THE HALL OF FAME!!!!!! For Gods sake the Clash made it. Name me 5 songs they ever did??? Email the R&R Hall of Fame and let them know... Skynyrd Lives!!!!

I agree!!! I can't think of a Skynyrd song I don't like. Their albums were always a sure thing.

Of all my favorite things to do, The utmost is to have a brew.
My love grows for my foamy friend, with each thirst-quenching elbow bend.
Beer so frosty, smooth, and cold it's paradise pure liquid gold.
Yes beer means many things to me that's all for now cus I gotta pee.

Hope you drove one of the old rigs to the concert. That would be the ultimate blast to the past. One time a friend of mine had a 70s party and it was really cool driven up in the 69 camaro. My car even matched the party.
