wiring for light behind the heater switch
While trying to re install my heater control panel, I pulled out the wire that goes into the bulb holder for the heater control panel light. I can't find a replacement for that tiny little copper cap that the wire crimps onto, which keeps the wire from pulling out. Does this make sense?
Is there a company that makes just the bulb holder that pops into the back of a non a/c heater panel, and the wire and connector that goes with it (only about 5" long)? Or, is the little copper crimp cap something that I could find at a specialty electric store? I checked Radio Shack, but they don't seem to sell much little stuff anymore. Thanks for any ideas.

You should be able to get a replacement bulb holder at any auto parts store and just connect it to your wire. I would take the old one with you. LockDoc

Re: wiring for light behind the heater switch
No need to buy anything, just push the end of the wire through the socket, strip about 1/8 inch of insulation off. Fray the wires a little and melt a blob of solder on it large enough to keep it from pulling through.
