Porterbuilt front tubular replacement crossmember

Maybe I'm an idiot, but I bought the Porterbuilt tubular front replacement crossmember and now after I got the factory rivets out of the frame I noticed that the crossmember has the holes drilled evenly on both ends. The frame has holes that are wider at the top and narrower at the bottom so the holes don't match up. I'm confused!

Re: Porterbuilt front tubular replacement crossmember

Did you buy just the front crossmember? Or a kit? I ask this because when I bought mine, they came as a kit with my body drop setup. There are front and rear crossmembers in the kit. The front one in my kit had the offset holes to match the existing frame. Maybe you have them backwards or Nate accidentally sent you the wrong one?
