1967-72 Assembly Manual....gaps?
I just bought a 67-72 Assembly manual at the swap meet at Eastern States (Springfield, MASS) the other day. Already I have pretty much digested it cover to cover. It has a lot of Burb specific diagrams and info that will be great with my 72 Suburban C20. Heck, it even has some stuff pertaining to the 3spd O/D. Problem is, the book seems to be incomplete. It has a lot of drawings with dimensions for exact placement of trim, emblems, several styles of mirror including the sport mirrors, etc. even gives the hole size to drill for bolts that thread into the sheet metal. The two drawings I wish it had were for mounting the 1972 style 3 point mirrors (i have a pic below that gives rudimentary dimensions) and for mounting the yankee cab lights to the roof. i know those exact lights were available in '69 because they were featured on a truck in the '69 Burbs and Panels brochure I got at the swap meet also. the manual just has a general picture to show wire routing and setup. does anyone have a 1972 specific assembly manual or know anything about the creation of this manual? it seems like it was kinda thrown together from the original manuals. there aren't even any page numbers.
