Take him up on that, its a deal. Several years ago I bought the Caswell kit and did a few quadrajets and other small parts, it is a complete time killer! I got pretty good results but it really wasn't worth the time. I have put it all away for a rainy day and hope that the chemicals are still good. It was one of those things I always wanted to do, did it and moved on to the next thing.
