What Oil?

I have tried google. I tried looking thru the archives on this website. My question is: I have a 67 GMC 2wheel drive with a 3 on the tree. I want to change the fluid but i am unsure what fluid to us. I have found different recommendations, straight 90 weight, and 75/90. Is there a correct fluid or just a personal preference. Thanks

Re: What Oil?

My manual calls for 80W-90 GL-5, but you can also use 75W-90, either dino or synthetic.... pretty much personal preference.
