need trim measurements please

If someone has a fender with holes for upper chrome trim could you take some measurements for me? I forgot to take measurements for my trim holes when i scrapped my old junk fenders and am trying to get this thing ready to paint. Some board members have sent me the diagrams that are in the factory assembly manual but they are almost impossible to use. i have pics that show how i need the measurements made. if you could say pic 1 to the center of the hole is ______ inches. and pic2 to the same hole is _____ inches.
Then pic 3 to the center of the hole is _____ inches and pic 4 to the same hole is _______ inches. if you could do this for me i would sure appreciate it.
Thanks Tony

Re: need trim measurements please

I measured my factory 72 front fender and here is what I came up with. I measured down to the center of the first hole like your first pic shows and then over to the center of the hole like your second pic shows. I then did the same thing for the last hole closest to the door. I measured multiple times if it makes you feel better and attached a couple pics of the fender I measured. Hope this helps. Brandon

Pic 1- 4 3/4 to center
Pic 2- 1 7/8 to center
Pic 3- 11/16 to center
Pic 4- 4 15/16 to center

Re: need trim measurements please

thanks brandon, thats what i have been needing !!!!!
david , the factory assembly manual uses really vague points on the body lines for a reference. thats why i needed better measurements. But i got what i needed. Time to crank up the paint gun.
Thanks guys, Tony

Re: need trim measurements please

Gotcha, I've used a chalk line and measured off that reference before... I'm sure it will come out fine though...

Re: need trim measurements please

I see what you are saying about the manual being vague about "starting /ref. points". So i could only get you #1 & #2 dims hope they help. They are #1 is 4 7/8, #2 is 1 7/8, they differ from bcutt's but only 1/8 on one dim. I am asuming you have the ones from the door foward? If not i hav e the distance in between From your first hole by the door to the next is 14.37 from there the next 3 are 9.50 the very front one is 9.19 giving you the total dis. 52.06"
Good luck Hope this helps
