93 s10 4x4

i might be trading my wheels/tires for a 93 s10 4x4 ext cab shortbed 4.3 v6 with a auto trans i had a few questions

what trans/tcase would it have?

what kind of mpg does would it get?

would it be a bad truck?

it does need the tcase out back in, if its no good what can i take a tcase out of thatll work?

I believe by 1993 the trans was the 4l60. Hopefully someone will come along and validate, or correct as necessary.

Tcase will be a nv231 if it has a shifter, or a nv233 if it is the pushbutton electric model.

My expierience with the 4.3/4l60 combo has been 15 to 17 mpg with primarily stop and go driving. They do seem to be better on the freeway, but these are not gas sippers by any means.

"Would it be a bad truck?" is kind of a loaded question when we have no idea on the condition/mileage/how well it has been maintained, etc.
It is a 20 year old truck after all.

he said it has the eletric so the nv233 but he was trying to put the floor shifter nv231 into.

thats not bad mpg my 88 k1500 gets 15mpg on boggers if i drive it nice lol

i was thinking get it and make it either a daily driver or a offroad/toy

i was talking to him about the truck today and he was saying he has the electric tcase in it just the tail end is different the the floor shift tcase the truck originally came with how hard would that be to fix? new driveline?
