speedwarning ?

Does anyone know exactly where the knob to set your speedwarning comes through? I have seen them come through the plastic bezel, and through the metal dash itself. If anyone can verify location, can you give me exact measurements? Any help appreciated! Eric

I put mine here.

Only pic I have of it right now.
I used an original speedwarning bezel cluster to locate the position.

I have over a dozen original speedwarning dashes and all have the speedwarning knob located exactly where Rod's photo shows it. It doesn't matter if the dash bezel is gauge or non-gauge either its always in this location.

Thought I better come back and post due to the # of emails we've received regarding buying our speedwarnings and or speedwarning parts, the fact is None of our speedwarnings or speedwarning related parts are for sale, they will either be used in the original truck they came out of ( We have 5 original trucks that came with them, or will go in one of our other 13 others trucks that did not originally come with one.

So it looks like i center it off the lower corner of of where it reads lights, to the nearest point of speedo? The 67 i parted had it listed as an option (i believe) and the knob came through the metal part of the dash about centered with the speedo. Could this be correct also? Thanks for the pic and knowledge! Eric
