WTB 72 Charcoal Canister and bracket

I need a Charcoal Canister and bracket for my 72 with a 350. I'm not sure if there are any differences. My truck came from WA.

Mine has been removed at some point and the fuel tank isn't venting correctly.
Thank you,
Ray

Re: WTB 72 Charcoal Canister and bracket

Heres the one I have. It doesn't make any noise when shaken. It does have one outlet broken off and someone inserted a screw in it. I think thats the outlet that goes to the carb anyway. You may not need it. lmk

Chuck,

Thanks for the picture and information. I would like to find one with all the outlets attached.

Thank you,
Ray

Let me check the parts shed but I think I have one sitting on a shelf. Not sure if it a '72 version or not. Were they also on the '71's? Think that may be where it came from, my '71 4x4. $15 plus shipping, think it has all three ports intact.

Dang, Ray! You just got that air filter--I could have threw a canister in the box with it. I have one if you're interested. Casey

Re: WTB 72 Charcoal Canister and bracket

Found the charcoal cannister I have but the bracketry is differant. Cannister looks to be the same as in the pic with all three ports in place, produced by Rochester Products, cannister # is 7030605. If still interested let me know and I will get a couple pics.

My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"
