Re: Another Wheel question thread, MB Old School

I think I may pull the trigger on these. I have a stepside and I'm going with the 8.5's. From what I've been able to find, they are 7mm offset, or 5.03 BS. My rear housing is 3/8-1/2 wider than the "narrow" housing, so i think these will put me right on the money. They are the only cheap option I've been able to find with close enough BS numbers for my application.

Trigger pulled.... Now we'll see how long it takes before I can get a picture with them on the truck... I've got some work to do!

Awesome! Ready to see pics. What size tires do you plan to run?

Re: Another Wheel question thread, MB Old School

I had them mount 255/40's for the front, and 275/40's for the rear. I struggled between being able to rotate them or not, but everybody told me the rears HAD to be wider, and I caved, ha ha.

I was really surprised Discount mounted the 275/40 on an 8.5 wheel, it's a little outside the tire mfg's specs.

I'll get some pictures when they come in. I'm still a little ways off getting them on the truck, but soon I hope.
