Ez-Efi fuel pump
Anybody out there do an ez-zfi setup on their burb yet? I've got one going on the '70 and they tell you to mount the pump lower than the fuel tank and as close as possible to it. Only problem is there is nothing lower than the tank back there on these trucks! Mine is 2wd so it's crowded back there too! Thought about a braket coming down from that crossmember in front of the tank but that gets really close to the 3rd link. Could go behind it but that gets ugly quick. Any suggestions?

Re: Ez-Efi fuel pump
You could use a low pressure lift pump to feed the efi pump.

Re: Ez-Efi fuel pump
I run an EFI fuel pump in my Nova and settled for close to the tank and even with the top of it. No problems at all with fuel pressure or supply. They aren't very good at sucking, but 6-9 inches above the bottom of the tank isn't a big deal. The recommendations are there to prevent people from putting it on the inner fender or 10 feet away from the tank.
