The C10 chassis is priced similar to the car stuff & includes just about everything (minus the differential/gear set). Their new IRS is uber sweet.
Scoti, the IRS that you just mentioned that the Roadster Shop put in Chris Jacob's 66 Chevelle won the autoX @ DesMoines 2011 Goodguys this year. Also, the C1 Corvette they built also won the autoX back in 2009 @ Goodguys Columbus, Ohio. Not to mention the several Street Machine of They Year awards they have won. The most recent is the InNOVAator of this year. Click on the link below and you will see the most beautiful 67 Nova's you have ever seen. Lastly, the green 70 Chevelle they built posted a speed of 50 mph thru the cones and a .98g on the skidpad at a track day in Fontana, CA. Mind you...that's nearly a 1g on the skidpad. Not too many cars can pull a 1g. So, all of the cars I just mentioned were built by the Roadster Shop running their own chassis's. In my book, that at least qualifies as some of the best. I would have one of their chassis's if I could afford one.

Not looking for a pissin' contest here as we're both entitled to our opinions. I did state & do agree they are "one of the best". I just don't like reading where one company is "the best" :

I didn't realize they had multiple wins on the autocrosses (I knew of a couple so kudos to them!). Others have also won those auto crosses w/competing suspensions thus others offer competitive, quality, choices. For these trucks, that would be No Limit or Hotchkis.

As nice as their InNOVAtor is, it's not the most beautiful nova I've ever seen so it's all dependant on your personal tastes. Too much 'flash' for me (just like their lime green 70 & pastel orange 66 Chevelles). Now the re-vamped 66 owned by Jacobs is one of the nicest 66 Chevelles I've ever seen (I prefer all the serious hardware w/a more subtle appearance).

Again, absolutely no disrespect intended. I really like the products RS offers & think they're a group of super nice guys. I spoke w/them @ length about their C10 chassis & considered (still considering??) it for my RetroRod project vs. other possibilities. Like w/your Lat-g Chevelle build & the IRS, it's hard to work that sort of $$ out on a lower end budget.

Regards....

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Scoti, I meant no disrespect either. And I definately didn't mean to come across as wanting to start a pissin contest. Hey, we are both from Dallas, Tx bro...it's all good. LOL!!. Maaan, you are gonna drop some serious coin for the RS C10 chassis, huh ?

Wheels are the wrong size right now ... New rendering is being made plus stance is WRONG ... It will have a 1" gap from top of tire.

I like the color scheme a lot however i would not separate the cab from the bed. If it were mine I would continue the lines of black/silver you have on the hood to the bed rails. I think that separation would look a lot sweeter. As you asked for that is my opinion.

We have to reach for some kind of goal right?

PB's C4-DM & T/A set-up... or,
Hotchkis's TVS kit.... or,
RS C10 chassis..... or,
No Limits 'Big-10' chassis......

You just cant go wrong w/any of those choices!

That's what I'm talking about. When you get to the level of most these suspension/chassis builders, even they admit it comes down to chassis, wheels/tires, brakes, overall setup & last but not least the driver!

Very nice rendering. Just wondering, what are you doing for chassis? Hotchis stuff or the Roadster Shop Chassis? Also what size of wheels in your rendering?

Yeah, I agree. The renderings are beautiful, but where are the results? Did you blow the budget on the picture and no money for the rest of the project?
