66 one ton leaf shackle bushings
I am having trouble finding shackle bushings for a 66 one ton rear leaf set-up. Or Google has been letting me down because it is a plot against me. Does anybody know of a source?
If not, I see 2 alternatives. One machine my own. Or change out the main spring that attaches to the shackle for a '73-xx that can use the neoprene bushings. Any comments? No I don't want to bag it. Dave. |

I had the same trouble replacing mine for my 3/4 ton. I finally found http://www.autoandtrucksprings.com/ and they have dimensions of all the bushing. Might take some work but you should find what you need there.

My truck is a combination of a mix of parts. I ordered 3/4 ton bushings from Brothers and they didn't fit. All I did was measure the inside diameter of the leaf spring and the length of the spring mounting area. I think I ended up with a bushing for a Ford truck.
