700 R4 bracket for a 230 6 cylinder

I have a 65 with a 230 6cyl. I currently have a 350 turbo tranny in it and I am looking for a bracket that will hook up either the kickdown cable from the t-350 or the tv cable for the 700 r to the one barrel carb of my 6 cylinder

once again need to hook up the tranny cable to a one barrel carb, does anyone make this?

Re: 700 R4 bracket for a 230 6 cylinder

I couldn't find a bracket to hook up the kickdown cable on my TH350 to my 6 cylinder, so I fabricated one. It was easy to create and it works great. If you're interested in the rough schematic shown in the 1st picture, let me know.

That looks like it would work. If you dont mind send me the info.

I would like to find ( if it even exists ) a factory looking bracket, maybe something of a early to mid seventies truck or car..... I cant ever remember seeing an auto behind a six with our style carb and intake set up...

I have seen plenty of the integrated head models, but not our seperate intake and carb

Re: 700 R4 bracket for a 230 6 cylinder

Here's a PDF with measurements and basic instructions, also a photo showing where the 2 brackets attach. I made the piece on the throttle linkage pretty beefy so it wouldn't flex when it engages the cable.

I have not found any after market ones that can do the job. I've heard older Nova 6's have kick down brackets that may work.
