How's your 20's ride?

Supposed to meet up with a vendor in april in piegon forge to get wheels and tires. I am having second thoughts though as im worried my choice of 18's might not fill the fenders well with the 3.5/5 drop. Hows yalls 20' ride? I see alot of you running 20x8.5 and 20x10's. I have spent hours looking at you guys truck pics. I would love to run the 18's but want it to look right. I was gonna go with 18x8 and 18x9.5. Im also not running a c-notch and really would like to stay away from it. Thanks in advance guys.

Love the ride on my 20's with a 4.5/6" drop with no c-notch.

Re: How's your 20's ride?

I've ran mine with both 15" rallies and with the 20's with a 40 series sidewall (4.5-6 drop). As expected, it rides a little better with the 15's than the 20's. But it rides fairly well either way. As for the notch, I have one and still bottom out from time to time. But you could probably get by just fine without one on a 5" drop. Whether you go with 18 or 20, your truck is going to look awesome!

I thought a 6 inch drop in rear required a c-notch? Do you ever bottom out?

Re: How's your 20's ride?

I know on my 06 Z71 there is a good bit of difference going from the factory 17" rims to the 20s with both tires being the same height.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

I love my 20's......the y ride like a dream. Granted I have full airbag suspension, so my ride will be a little different than you all running springs and coils.

A cnotch is NOT required with a 6" spring.

I have bottomed out once and I was just pushing it to hard and came off a bridge on a local highway. (Lower on the passing lane)

Re: How's your 20's ride?

My 71 swb has the 4/6 kit from ECE with no notch. I have'nt driven it much but it does'nt seem like it will bottom out. Lots of room left.
