Wood floor over metal SWB - Thoughts

I am considering putting wood over my metal floor on my 72 C10 short wide bed. Has anyone done this and if so how? My other option would be to have the bed spray lined. The floor just had too many little dings and dents to ever look very nice and I am looking for other options.

Thanks, Rick

All depends on how you want to use the bed. If you intend to use it as a truck I would not do wood (too soft) but use a simple rubber mat or spray/roll on bed liner. That's a DIY project.

The wood would rot faster and the bed floor would rust faster. Why not replace the metal floor with a new metal floor or doing the wood floor right?
