Sounds like a good idea to me!
I couldn't have said it better... I do love the original trucks but nothing like driving a ride that's 40+ years with the latest goodies in the drive train.

Re: Direction of Trucks! LSX build on Spike?

Watched the latest installment of the C10 LS build, it was okay but they do a lot of fabrication to save just a few bucks. I would never modify a frame to fit exhaust manifolds I knew were going to be replaced, just doesn't make sense to me. A Boyds Welding tank with the in-tank pump is not much more than the stuff LMC sent them (I understand it is about advertisement). I did like the harness they used from 150 Tune, the prices seemed really reasonable and I am interested to see how it does on the road. has anyone on the board used this company? Anyway, pretty cool install so far just different ways to skin the cat... what do you all think?

I watched it last week. I didn't think the frame mod was anywhere nearly as invasive as all of the c notching I see people do (I'll be glad when that fad passes!)
