Those both use different adapters. They will interchange as long as you have the correct adapter and both have the same input spline. Basically as long as both came from behind the same trans, they should bolt up. However your driveshafts may not. If the 205 just needs the speedo gear, I would fix that before I would go to all the trouble of switching the whole transfer case. The 205 is far better than a 203 anyway.
